RAPTURE

Privacy

The short version: this site sets no cookies, builds no profile of you, and sends nothing about you to an advertising network.

Who is responsible

Rapture, Industriestrasse 8, 8618 Oetwil am See, Switzerland. Questions about anything on this page go to hello@rapture.sh and are answered by a person.

What this site measures

We count visits so we know whether anybody is reading. The measurement is done without cookies and without any identifier stored on your device, and it records only aggregate facts: which page was opened, roughly where in the world the request came from, which site linked here, and whether the screen was a phone or a desktop.

None of that is tied to you. There is no identifier that follows you between pages, between visits or between sites, so there is nothing we could use to recognise you later even if we wanted to.

When you write to us

If you email hello@rapture.sh we have your address and whatever you chose to put in the message. We use it to answer you and, if we end up working together, to do the work. We do not add you to a mailing list.

We keep correspondence for as long as the conversation is live, and afterwards for as long as Swiss bookkeeping rules require us to keep records of work we were paid for.

Who else can see it

The company that hosts this site necessarily handles the requests your browser makes, including your IP address, in order to serve the page. Our email provider handles messages you send us. We do not sell anything about you, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to hello@rapture.sh and we will answer within thirty days.

This site is operated from Switzerland and is subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Where the GDPR applies to you, the rights it gives you apply too.

Changes

If we change how any of this works we will change this page, and the date at the top will tell you when.
